Your donation will support WNBA ongoing programs—such as the WNBA Pannell Award, the WNBA Award, National Reading Group Month, and our UN NGO Affiliation—as well as our Centennial activities, including the following:

  • WNBA Award, Centennial Edition, given biennially to a bookwoman who contributes in extraordinary ways to the literary community; 2016-2017 winner to be honored at the Centennial celebration in October 2017.

  • Bookwomen Speak: The WNBA Centennial Visionaries Series. A nationwide “in conversation” series by visionary women who have championed books in our society.

  • Celebrating Women’s Voices: 200 Books to Read and Talk About. Two lists of books—fiction/ poetry/memoir and nonfiction—that the WNBA community considers to be the most influential penned by women.

  • Book-a-Day Women's History Month Program. Thirty-two books, selected from the above list, to be sent to the White House, one for each day, during March; the list of books is being sent to members of Congress and other key officials as well.

  • WNBA Second Century Prize, supporting the power of reading past, present, and future. A grant to a nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and fosters life-long reading.

  • Women in the Literary Landscape: A Centennial Publication of the Women's National Book Association (pub date: October 2017). A publication celebrating women’s roles and leadership in the book world, with highlights focused on the WNBA’s history and contributions. Free to supporters of the Silver Level and above.

  • Centennial Celebration. Festivities in October 2017, including a cocktail reception, presentation of our Second Century Grant and WNBA Award, and in conversation with WNBA Award winners.

As a donor, you will be recognized as a supporter of the Centennial activities noted at each level. To make a donation, click the PayPal link underneath the levels below, or mail to the address on the bottom right.
